Starfleet officers are allowed to wear shoes with or without heels based on personal preference. Usually Spock wears flatter heels, but he has been known on occasion to wear the taller variation because why not, you know? There’s no real reason. It’s not like Jim was getting on his nerves the other day and also hates when Spock wear the heels, definitely not that. Oh, Jim, I’m sorry, does it bother you? That Spock is tall? That you’re short? Oh dear. What to do? Hm, a real dilemma, this. Real pickle of a situation.

Having a standard set time for all Starfleet ships is a necessity for the sake of communication and synchronicity, however it does make it challenging for the crew when they land on a planet where days pass differently than they do onboard. This is dually true for moments when the ship lands on the daytime side of a planet while it is nighttime onboard, and the crew can often suffer serious jet lag or an interrupted circadian rhythm. For Spock, who grew up on a different planet than the one their artificial time is based on and has a circadian rhythm built to Vulcan rather than Earth, watching the crew groggily wade through a new timezone is like sweet sweet justice.

Vulcans can live well into their 200′s, nearly twice the lifespan of the average 23rd Century human. Due to his Human DNA, Spock’s expected lifespan lies somewhere between these two points. However, this does not change the fact that while on the five year mission, Spock was in his mid-to-late 30′s, making him a relatively young Vulcan. During his time on the Enterprise, Spock was essentially a teenager.

I find it illogical that humans would figure out FTL travel before knowing how to double their lifespan with gene tweaking.

Vulcan minds are highly disciplined, but behind that structure is a mind as emotional and abstract as any other humanoid. Being able to control one’s thoughts and emotions has the benefit of making lucid dreaming a more achievable goal than the less monitored mind, but it also means that those displaced thoughts and emotions are more readily expressed through the subconscious. Very vivid and engaging dreams are common for Vulcans, though also easily controlled. The real problem is the telepathy.

Headcannon: since Vulcan live a desert planet, they natural have long and thick eyelashes the humans to keep out dust. so spock natural beautiful eyelashes.

Would there be any interest from anyone in a blog dedicated to writers being able to showcase passages they are proud of from stories they cannot or will not finish? The wip graveyard, so to speak, where writers can submit lines they have written that would not otherwise be seen by anyone? We need to raise $5000 to get Griffin Mcelroy to play Spock in the next movie. None of the other characters are allowed to acknowledge the shift and they occasionally call him Sprite Pepsi instead of Spock.
